Robert Connor, RA
A lifelong Washingtonian, Robert grew up on Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands located in the Northwest corner of the state. A childhood spent in this idyllic setting helped foster his commitment to environmental stewardship. After graduating from the University of Washington in 1997 with degrees in Architecture and Community and Environmental Planning he joined Thielsen Architects where he has worked for 17 years. His interest in environmental planning and restoration has lead to an interest in complex sites containing environmentally sensitive and critical areas. A registered architect, Robert’s responsibilities with the firm include project management and information systems management. Robert brings 3D computer visualization skills to the team.
Away from the office Robert can be found enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest on his backcountry skis, in his mountaineering boots, and from the seat of his bicycle.
